Item Creation
General Creation Notes
Unlike entries, item permissions are tied to their triggers.
An item's final permission is decided by its parent entry. That means if you create a public item that belongs to a private entry, then the item is ultimately private. However, if you later make that entry public then the item will be public also.
Public Items
public items are created with a "-".
Examples
Public items begin with a "-".
- this would be the public item title this would be the public item body
Private Items
Private items are created with a "_".
Examples
Private items begin with a "_".

Grouping Items
Items can be chained and also grouped together into entries. Visit the entry help page to see examples of how items can be grouped together.
